The Bellus is Youde’s (UD’s) newest entry into the rebuildable tank market. Offering dripper style side airflow, top fill and a rifled chimney and drip tip; the Bellus is sure to make an impression.
The top filling feature of the Bellus is simple and intuitive, requiring no tools. The tank itself holds a reasonable 5mL of eliquid. During two weeks of testing, the only leaks noticed were a result of forgetting to close the airflow when top filling. The machining quality of the Bellus has greatly improved over Youde’s earlier offerings, no burrs or machine oil to be found.
Building on the Bellus has been a dream.
Building on the Bellus has been a dream. The post holes are gigantic, easily fitting two 26/32 Clapton coils. The post screws themselves are large and are not likely to strip with regular use. The deck itself can easily handle lower gauge wire, with 24g or 26g fitting comfortably. I personally recommend keeping coils to 2.5mm ID or smaller, as any larger and shorts can occur with the top cap.
As per tradition with any recent Youde RTA, they include a single coil adapter. Once installed, it blocks one of the cyclops style airflow holes off. This small silicone part allows nearly perfect MTL flavor chasing hits at lower wattages to suit the kayfun or lemo enthusiasts.
In terms of flavor and vapor production, the Bellus is head and shoulders above the competition. The rifled chimney allows the Bellus to rival nearly any tank or dripper in terms of flavor. Airflow is generous, allowing even the pickiest of lung hitters to enjoy full lung inhales when wide open.
Overall, the Bellus is a solid new RTA coming mid October. Consumers can expect to pay 24.99 and is currently available for pre-order at 101Vape.com
